Origins & History

Bishnupur Heritage School, founded in 2015, located at Barnaparichay Campus in the lap of nature is far from the madding crowd. It is located on the southern point of historical Lalbandh and only 500 metre away towards south of the famous Kalachand,(Gouranga Mahaprabhu) Temple of Bishnupur. Bishnupur Temple Town is being very close to Bishnupur Heritage School, the cultural traditions casts a magic spell all around. The setting is serene and solemn and entirely free from pollution and disturbances. The premises is vibrant with note of birds, whispering breeze and mesmerizing fragrance of flowers. The place is ideal for teaching and learning.

Bishnupur Heritage School  (Nursery to Class – X) is approved by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, as a listed English Medium School. The environment of Bishnupur Heritage School is so beautiful that it impresses the body, mind and soul of the students. It has large play ground,  laboratories and well equipped library. The School has separate art and cultural hall to inculcate cultural aspects among the students.

History

Bishnupur is a temple city surrounded with sal forests and seven famous water bodies. It is a place with fertile red soil and full of cultural traditions. Bishnupur is full of whispering breeze, chirping of different kinds of birds and mesmerizing fragrance of colourful flowers. The famous Chinnamasta (Goddess Kali) Temple is a place of attraction for many tourists from all over the globe. Many pupils from different places come to Bishnupur to learn the music of Bishnupur Gharana, which is very famous all over the world. There is a Branch of Ramakrishna Ashram and Bharat Sevashram in Bishnupur. Their monks provide our learners the concept of value based education and help our children in the development of body, mind, intellect and spirit.

B.P.I.E Group

BPIE group has been working in the field of education. With a philanthropic bent of mind a group of enthusiastic entrepreneurs headed by Mr. Satya Sadhan Dutta started their maiden journey in setting up an English Medium school in the temple town Bishnupur. This school got a wide-spread identity as the Bishnupur Public School, which is still running with its own glory. BPIE group felt the need of providing technical education among the youths of Bankura and Purulia district, known as the backward regions of Bengal, at an affordable cost. With this end in view the group established a diploma engineering college, Bishnupur Public institute of Engineering, in 2010 in a rural background of Siromonipur village, about 3.5 K.M. from the Bishnupur Bus stand in a lush green sylvan environment. This gradually became the icon institution of the group. This group harbours four B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. composite Colleges of Education. This group is operating thirteen Govt. ITIs under PPP model spreading over five districts of West Bengal and one Private ITI at Siromonipur campus. BPIE is also imparting different short course Vocational Training as a training partner of DDU-GKY project, Utkarsha Bangla and so on. With the passage of time BPIE Group has achieved trust and credibility. Its latest venture is the Bishnupur Heritage School-CBSE, an English medium School of excellence under the CBSE curriculum. BPIE group is destined to fly more in many more venues.
